Sarah Breckenridge, daughter of George and Ann Doak Breckenridge, married Robert Finley (born 1745) in 1777, per Dr Carmen Finley's Sonoma Finley genealogy, quoting descendant Alverta Brown Martin that the couple moved to the western border of North Carolina shortly after marriage, and later to Blount County TN. Descendant Martin further reports, in Dr Finley's genealogy, that their children included: Thankful, Sarah, John, Robert-b1780-mMaryPickens, Ann, Margaret, James-b1796TN-laterKansas-mMargaret Pickens. Descendant Martin is further quoted that Robert and Sarah are buried in Eusebia Cemetery in Blount County TN.
