Hi, I believe that the parents of the Daniel Pierce who was married to Mary Hicks/Hix were Mial Pierce and Patience Martin. I see that Pierce-3275 has Mial and Patience listed as parents. It is my understanding that the only source for Clothier Pierce and Mary Hill is the Pierce Genealogy books written by Frederick Clifton Pierce, which have been proven to be an unreliable source due to his attempts to fabricate connections to prestigious families. Can we please discuss this?
Pierce-3275 and Pierce-2544 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth and death date and places. Same wife. Correct parents needs to be confirmed.
