Dobbs County, NC - Court Records Be it remembered, that on this the 30th Day of July David Rainer, Joseph Winkfield, Michail King, James McDonal, ASHA PIPKIN, JESSE PIPKIN, Joshua Carroway, Bryan McCullin, David Cogdell & John Roach, came before me one of the State Justices of The Peace for the County aforesaid, Severally acknowledged themselves to be In-debted to the State aforesaid in the Sum of Ten Thousand Pounds Courant Money of sd State, to be levied on their several Goods and Chattels Lands & Tennements to the Use of said State, on Condition, that each of them, the Said David Rainer, Joseph Winkfield, Michael King, James McDonal, ASHER PIPKIN, JESSE PIPKIN, Joshua Carroway, Bryan McCullin, David Cogdel & John Roach do Personally appear at the next Superior Court to be held at Newbern or Court of Oyer and Terminer, then and there to give such Evidence on behalf of the State, as they Severally may know against Joseph Killet concerning the Matters wherewith he stands Charged, and do not depart the said Court without Leave: otherwise this Recognizance to be of full force.
