Pirkle-263 and Pirtle-298 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate. Pirtle is correct spelling.

Pirkle-263 and Pirtle-298 do not represent the same person because: Pirtle-263 is the correct George (Pirkle) Pirtle. All of John Jacob's sons were born Pirkle. George later changed the spelling to Pirtle.

Pirtle-298 appears to be someone trying to hi-jack George to add Pirtle-297 William George Pirtle as a son and John Jacob as a father. This is incorrect information. These connections should be removed.
