Ortere Pitre was born about 1906 in Ville Platte, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, United States, son of Onezime Joseph Pitre (1877–aft. 1928) and Genevieve Lemoine (1879–abt. 1907).[1]
In 1910, Ortere was living in Police Jury Ward 7, Saint Landry, Louisiana. [1]
Ortere died about 1920, aged 13.
