Biography

Marie-Louise Plouf was baptised on 1 Oct 1715 in Vercheres, Canada, Nouvelle-France (now Québec, Canada), daughter of Louis Plouf and Marie Truchon, according to Tanguay.[1] However, according to the PRDH-IGD database, Marie Louise Plouf was born on 1 Oct 1715 and baptised on 4 Oct 1715 in Ste-Trinité, Contrecoeur.[2] (See possible original 1715 baptism record here, although hard to read.[3])

She married Antoine Latour on 27 May 1737, location not known but marriage was listed in Richelieu notarial records.[2][4]

Marie Ploufe, wife of Antoine Latours, age 58 (born about 1711) died on 22 Oct 1769 and was buried on 23 Oct 1769 in Ste-Geneviève-de-Berthier, Berthierville, Province de Québec.[5][2]
