"Of Knaresborough, Plumpton (in Spofforth), etc., Yorkshire, Knoulton and Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire, Hassop and Bakewell, Derbyshire, Seneschal and Master Forester of the Honour and Forest of Knaresborough, Constable of Knaresborough Castle, Sheriff of Falaise, Sheriff of Yorkshire, Sheriff of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, son and heir. Sometime prior to 1441 he was heir to his kinsman, John Foljambe, by which he inherited the manor of Arnold, Nottinghamshire. She died before 1446. who did He married (2nd) in a clandestine ceremony between Easter and Pentecost 1451 JOAN WINTRINGHAM, daughter and co-heiress of Thomas Wintringham, of Wintringham Hall (in Knaresborough), Yorkshire, by his wife, Alice." He and Elizabeth had two sons, Robert and William, Knt., and six daughters, Margaret (wife of George Darell, Knt.), Isabel (wife of Stephen Hamerton), Elizabeth (wife of William Beckwith), Agnes (wife of Richard Aldborough), Joan (wife of Thomas Middleton), and Alice (wife of Richard Goldsborough).
