William Robert Plunkett was born on December 22, 1806 in the township of Cunningburne, Newtonards Parish, County Down, Ireland. He is the son of William Plunkett and Mary. [1][2][3]
He married Sarah Cade Kenedy. They immigrated to Brockville, Onntario, Canada in about 1830. They had at least seven children, the first six born in or near Brockville, Canada, and the last born in Nauvoo, Illinois, of whom died within a year of being born.
Joseph H Plunkett was born in July 1844, died in June 1845 in Nauvoo, Illinois.
The census records indicate that he lived in Washington, Van Buren, Iowa, United States in 1850.[6]
He immigrated from Kanesville (now Council Bluffs), Iowa to Utah in 1852 with the Henry Bryant Manning Jolley Company.[7] He lived in American Fork, Utah for a number of years, until about 1855.
In 1860 he lived in Drytown, Amador County, California.[8]
The last known record of him was in on July 22, 1866 in Drytown, when he was registered to vote on the Great Registry. He is assumed to be dead before 1869, when his wife moved to Utah to live with one or their children.
William Robert Plunkett passed away in about 1868 in Drytown, Amador County, California.
