When Sarah Ann Poindexter was born in 1830, her father, William, was 23, and her mother, Mary, was 20. She had six brothers and three sisters. She was the first wife of Jesse F. Scott; she died in February 1863 in Dade, Missouri, at the age of 33, and was buried in Everton, Missouri.[1]
