Biography

Rene Porier was born in 1718. He was the son of Michel Poirier and Marie Chiasson. He was baptized 23 Oct 1718, no birth date was given. His godparents were Rene Bernard and Cecile Poirier. ^[1]

Rene married 14 Nov 1740 Anne Gaudet, daughter of Denis Gaudet and Anne Doucet at Beaubassin. His parents were both deceased at the time of his wedding as well as Anne's father.^[2]
