Mary Potter was born in Ipswich, Massachusetts Bay before August 10, 1746, the date she was baptized, daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (Kimball) Potter.
Mary married John Goodhue as his 2nd wife on March 25, 1779. Mary and John had five children including Thomas, Isaac, Ephraim, Manasseh, and Polly. They raised their family in Ipswich.
At age 75, Mary passed away in Ipswich on October 5, 1821.
