Marie was born in 1765. Daughter of Joseph Poulin (abt.1720-1786) and Marguerite Rocheleau (1740-)[1].
Baptism is in Trois-Rivières church, residence is cited as Cap-de-la-Madeleine, which is nearby to Trois-Rivières, but since the parish church of that location was already in existence at the time, it must be concluded that the mother at least was in Trois-Rivières to have her, since the baptism was on the same day as the birth.
she goes by various names, some records call her Marie Poulin, some Marie Labrie, some Marie Noël. She and her husband were resident of Châteauguay when her son Jean married in 1813.
Further data on children of the couple are in the husband's bio.
