Daughter of Edward T and Mary E Powers. She was the younger sister of Harold P and Mathew J Powers. Her parents were possibly of Newfoundland, Canada?

In the 1930 census she lived in Meriden, CT, with her parents, Edward and Mary Powers, her husband, James Doyle, and her sons: James and Matthew.
In the 1940 census she is head of house, living with her children: James, Matthew, Mary, Harold, and Edward. Her husband is MIA - possibly serving in WWII?
