Biography
Hannah was born in 1840. She was the daughter of Joseph Preston and Hannah O'Donnell. [1]
She married William John Wilson at McDonald River, NSW in 1881. [2]
Hannah died in 1925 at the age of 85. The newspaper articles at the time of her death mentions her husband's death in 1903 by drowning in Tuggerah Lake, and her brothers Thomas, John, James, George and William Preston, and sisters Mrs G Bailey and Mrs G. Williams. [3][4]

Hi Melissa, I think there were two Hannah Prestons. From Australianroyalty.net, the one who married William John Wilson was the daughter of Joseph Preston and Elizabeth Jurd, (and a granddaughter of Joseph Preston and Hannah O'Donnell) and lived from 1854 to 1902. On Australian Royalty, this Hannah doesn't have a husband recorded. I would like to unlink William John Wilson and link him to his correct family. Please contact me if you would like to discuss.
