Biography

In 1773, there were 4 male Prindles/Pringles (William, Timothy, Joel Sr, Joel Jr) living in Skenesborough, New York, who as freeholders signed a petition for Skenesborough [today Whitehall] to become a county town. Many of these Skenesborough residents were Loyalists who later migrated to Ontario:

The town of Skenesborough was founded by famous Scottish Loyalist Col. Philip Wharton Skene[1]

1788: Offered an affidavit (sworn before Major Petrus Van Alstine UE) in support of fellow Skenesborough resident James Jackson UE, whose property valued at 527 pounds sterling had been seized by Patriot rebels.

Born 15 MAR 1749. Albany, New York.

Died 5 JUN 1839. Fredericksburgh, Ontario.
