Frank Perkins Prowse, known as Perkins, was born on November 22, 1918 in Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island.[1] He was the only child of W. Frederick Prowse and Pearl Hobbs.
Perkins spent his early years in Murray Harbour[2] until the family moved to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. In 1940, Perkins was working as a machinist.[3] At the time of his mother's death in 1953, he was in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) in Vancouver, British Columbia.[4] In 1978, he was working as an airline mechanic. He never married.
Perkins died on October 9, 1978, in Vancouver, British Columbia.[5] His death certificate was signed by a Public Trustee. He was buried in Mountain View Cemetery.[6]
