Biography

Henry Prowse was born in 1862 or 1863. He was the child of Joseph Prowse and Agnes Jarvis. In 1881, Henry was living with his parents and siblings on the family farm on Brackley Pt. Road (Lot 33).[1]

On May 21, 1882, Henry was baptized as an adult in the United Church.[2] Two of his siblings, Elizabeth and Silas, were baptized on the same day.

In 1891, he was living on his own, in Lot 34, working as a blacksmith.[3] Later that year, on September 30, 1891, Henry married Mary Susannah Hardy in Little York, Prince Edward Island.[4] They had 4 children.

The family headed west about 1905 and settled in Carbon, Alberta.[5] Henry died around 1909-1911. [6]
