Biography

Amy Louise Prowse was born on February 24, 1891 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and was baptized on March 11, 1896 at the Trinity First Methodist Church.[1] She was the daughter of Jarvis Prowse and Emma Richards. The family left Charlottetown and settled in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.

Amy married John Swetman on October 19, 1911 in Glace Bay.[2]
