Constance, daughter of Joseph Pulitzer and Kate Davis, was born on 13 December 1888. She was fifth of seven siblings, though neither Lucille (#2) or Katherine (#3) made it to adulthood. In the 1900 census Constance (age 12) was the daughter of Joseph Pulitzer in Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States.[1]
In the 1905 census Constance (age 16y) was the daughter of Joseph Pulitzer in Manhattan, A.D. 29, E.D. 15, New York, New York.[2]
In the 1910 census Constance (age 21) was the single daughter of Joseph Pulitzer in Manhattan Ward 19, New York, New York, United States.[3]
Constance (age 24), daughter of Joseph Pulitzer & Kate Davis, married William Gray Elmslie (age 27) on 20 September 1913 in Lake Tahoe, Placer, California, United States.[4][5]
In the 1930 census Constance (age 40) was the wife of William G Elmslie in Greenwich, Fairfield, Connecticut, United States.[6]
