Notes

Birth year of 1712 seems to be based on the assumption that Benjamin was the son of the elder Thomas Quilling. However, he was actually the grandson, son of a deceased Thomas Quilling, Jr.

The 1783 tax list of Worcester County shows a Benjamin Quillen with 100 acres.

There are administration records for a Benjamin Quillen in Worcester County, Maryland, but he cannot have been the same Benjamin who appeared on the 1783 tax list and 1790 census of Worcester County:
