Thomas Quisenberry was born about 1694, son of Humphrey and Mary (Muse) Quisenberry. He married Caroline Rawlings about 1725. He died about 1795.
Through Thomas Quisenberry (son of Humphrey) are descended most of the Quisenberrys of Kentucky. Because of the destruction during the war of the records of King George and Caroline counties, Virginia, but little information can be gathered concerning him. It is known that he had one son -- Aaron -- and he doubtless had others. Whether Thomas Quisenberry died in King George county or moved to Caroline county before his death can not now be ascertained His son, Aaron, first appears in 1746 in what is left of the records of Caroline county, and was then probably just of age or thereabouts.[1]
