Biography

Susannah was born about 1719 (based on parents marriage). She is the daughter of John Radford and Elizabeth Maxey. She passed away in 1803.

After the death of her husband, Richard, Susannah and her children moved to Fayette County, Kentucky, where she died about 1803.

NOTE: Susannah Radford Was the Wife of Richard Epperson (Sr.). Susannah Abernathy was the Wife of Francis R. Epperson, one of Richard's Sons. (Note added by John Epperson-154) Married 1743 in Goochland Co. or Cumberland Co, Virginia, USA

Misc. Notes Susannah Radford Epperson is mentioned in the will of her grandmother, Susannah Maxey, probated Sep 20, 1743, Goochland Co, VA.

The will of Susannah Maxey's husband, Edward Maxey, probated May 20, 1740, Book of Deeds 3, p 298 Goochland County, VA names his granddaughter, Susannah Radford.

"This Will made in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and forty three in the Sixtenth yeare of the Raine of our moste Souvrane Lord King Geore by the Grase of God King of Great Bretain France and Ireland Defender of the faethe. In the name of God Amen I Susannah Maxey being very sick and week of Body tho of parfick sense and memarey God be prased for it I doo willing and heartily Give and queue my Sole to God hoo gave it me and hoom I hope will recive it and my Body to the Earth from whense it Came there to be Desently Buried at the Descretion of my Executors.

"Item I give to my Son John Maxey one pound one shilling and six pence and half a dossen putor plates.

"Item I give to my Son Wilam Maxey One pound one shilling and six pence and half a dosson puter plates.

"Item I give to my Son Nathanel Maxey the feather Bed and furniture
