Biography

When Harriet Catherine Rainford was born on 4 June 1845 in Westminster, Middlesex, her father, George, was 35, and her mother, Harriet, was 29. She was baptised in a non-conformist parish at Horseferry Road in Westminster on 13 Jul, 1845. The family emigrated to the United States, in Illinois. She married Robert Corlett on 14 November 1863 in Kankakee, Illinois, USA. They had three children during their marriage. She died on 17 February 1933 at the age of 87, and was buried in Rockville, Illinois, USA.
