"Jacob married: 1st Elizabeth Gartman (1782-1837) Elizabeth was the daughter of George Gartman. 2nd Sarah Corley (ca 1804-1849) Sarah was the daughter of Laurance Corley. 3rd Ruth Elmore (1807-1878) Ruth was the daughter of Thomas Appleton Elmore and the sister of Rev. Elijah Elmore. She married first Lewis McCullough (ca 1777-ca 1850).
"Inscription: In the 77th year of his age. He attached himself to the Lutheran Church in early life, lived religious, died according to his profession."
