In answer to your question, what was the surname for Peter Gunnarson in Sweden? The patronymic naming system used in Sweden until 1900 applied to Peter who was known as Peer Gunnarsson. In Swedish it was spelled Peer Gummasson from Hisingen. His father was Gunnar Peerson or Peterson. There are no extant records of this family in Sweden. When he Peter first came to New Sweden he was asked to use a surname. He chose Ramberg which is an island off the coast from Gothenburg. Ron BEATTY has written a 15 page biography of his life for Gloria Dei Old Swedes Church that will be published this winter. The journal will be gifts at the June 12 2022 Rambo Reunion.

You may have been hard at work getting connected to family members who are already here and adding those who were missing. You probably have at least a few profiles that you manage now.
There's a fast and easy way to access those profiles using the Watchlist. So, this week we're going to look at How to Manage Your Watchlist.
Please let one of us know if you have questions! Just click my name above the comment, then ask in the comment section of my page. We want to help!

Hey! A couple of cousins I knew were famous but once I got several lines connected to the big tree then I found even more famous cousins and too many to put on my profile so made a free-space page to hold them all. :)
