Biography

Isaack/Isaac Randall was baptised on 9 January 1658 at Scituate, Massachusetts.[1]

Isaack was the son of William and Elizabeth (Barstow) Randall.[1] In 1635, 26 year-old William immigrated from England to the Massachusetss Bay colony in the Expectacon, settling eventually at Scituate in 1640, where in that year he was said to have married Elizabeth Barstow, the daughter of Matthew Barstow and sister of Michael, George and William.[2]

Isaack/Isaac was the brother of:

  1. Sarah, baptised 23 November 1645 at Scituate,[1] was born there in 1640 and married John Palmer, jr, there about 1664;[2]
  2. Joseph, born March 1642 at Scituate and baptised there on 23 November 1645,[1] married there Hannah Maycumber of Marshfeild in October 1672;[3]
  3. Hannah, born March 1644 at Scituate and baptised there on 23 November 1645,[1] married there Daniell Turner on 20 June 1665 or 1666;[3]
  4. William, born December 1647 at Scituate;[1]
  5. John, born April 1650 at Scituate;[1]
  6. Elizabeth, born October 1652 at Scituate;[1]
  7. Job, born 8 February 1654 at Scituate;[1]
  8. Benjamin, baptised 8 November 1657 at Scituate;[1]

  1. Susanah Berstow, Isaac married Susannah on 19 November 1684 at Scituate.[3] Susannah died on 16 February 1961-2.[4] Isack and Susanah were the parents of:[1]

    6. Caleb, born 29 July 1703 at Scituate and baptised there on 20 August 1704;
    7. Elizabeth, born 27 August 1705 at Scituate;
    8. Mary, born 31 July 1707 at Scituate;
    9. Abigail Randall, born November 1709 at Scituate,[1] married there Benjamin Bryant on 11 September 1729;[3]
    10. Grace, born 12 January 1711-2 at Scituate and baptised there on 12 April 1713,[1] married there James Gilkey of Brantrey, intention published 9 February 1737;[3]
    11. Perez Randall/Randull, born 2 December 1716 at Scituate,[1] married 1) Susannah Sturtevant of Halifax in Halifax on 30 January 1744[3] and 2) Sarah Cooke of Kingston in Kingston on 4 November 1746[3]

He married first Susanna Barstow, daughter of Joseph & Susanna (Lincoln) Barstow, on 19 Nov 1684 at Scituate, Plymouth, MA Bay - parents of Isaac, Susanna & Jacob Randall

After the death of wife Susanna, he married Deborah Buck, daughter of John & Elizabeth (Holbrook) Buck, on 29 Nov 1692 at Scituate, Plymouth, MA Bay - their children were Deborah, Rachel, Caleb, Mary, Abigail, Grace & Perez Randall
