" Little is known about William apart from his marriage & family. Some tragedy struck in 1810, perhaps the cholera, rife in the area. His youngest child John Drew Rashleigh was baptised on 15th April, buried on 19th April and on 8th June William himself was buried. In 1823 in Constantine, his daughter Susannah married William Jeffrey of Wendron, labourer. Records are inadequate to be sure of the fate of his other children.
