Marie Madeleine was born and baptized on September 22, 1749 at Saint-Vallier, Québec.[1]
She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Rate and Marie Josephe Bouchard.
At the age of 15 days, she died and was buried on October 7, 1749 at Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Québec.[2]
It is interesting to note that her mother died on November 16, 1749; two months after the child's birth.
