Daniel was born in Tennessee in 1819. He was the son of Joseph Ray and Kezziah Hensley. David was married 3x: Mary Ponegon 09/20/1844 (B1814, d 1855) Nancy Mathews 02/02/1859 (B 09/09/1830 d 1920). Need to add third wife information. Between the 1850 Census and the death of his first wife in 1855, Daniel moved the family to St. Clair County, Missouri. He passed away in 1873.
