Biography
Rachel was born about 1781 in western Virginia, possibly in Montgomery County which at the time stretched from the Virginia-North Carolina border northwest across the Appalachian mountains in what is today southwestern West Virginia. She was the daughter of George Rayborn and his wife, who may have been named Mary.
According to her record on FindAGrave, she married Daniel Weddle on 23 Jan 1801 in Pulaski County, Kentucky, and they had 13 children, 6 of whom survived until adulthood.[1]
She died on 22 Sep 1822 in Pulaski County at the age of 41.[1]
