Biography

Mary was born in 1823. She passed away in 1915.

In the "History of Pettis County, Missouri", published in 1882[1] is a biography of John Enoch Rector, a son of Henry Rector. It describes the second marriage of Henry Rector (father of John E.) to Mary Reany:

"His first wife died March 15, 1851, and he married the second time Miss Mary A. Reany, Nov. 11, 1851. She was born Sept. 29, 1823. The following children are the offspring of the latter marriage: Martha J., Sarah M., George H., Ruth, Jaily, Emma, William M., and Millard J. In religion, Mr. Henry Rector is a member of the M.E. Church, South."
