Research Notes
Samuel was the son of Jesse Rector and his first wife. Samuel is mentioned in his father's will as one of the children from his first wife (currently unknown) who would not be receiving money from Jesse's estate because he already gave/provided money for them in earlier years.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Samuel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Samuel:
You have Samuel's father (Jesse) listed as both his father and his half brother. This error occurs because you list Mary Ann Hitt as Jesse's first wife. She was not his first wife, she was Jesse's mother. Jesse's first wife is unknown. Please correct.
I have tried to follow your comments but not successfully. On examination, Mary Ann Hitt is Jacob Rector's wife. Perhaps you should diagram the Rectors to make it more clear to me!
Jesse Rector was Samuel Rector's father; however, Mary Ann Hitt was Jesse's mother. So she couldn't be Samuel's wife. She is his paternal grandmother. Samuel is the son of Jesse Rector and his first wife, who is currently unknown.
