I think it is highly unlikely that Maria Elisabeth was married to Francois Retief:
  • In her marriage entry with Petrus/Pieter Retief in 1783 she is listed a Jonge Dogter.
  • In her death entry, she is listed as the widow of P Retief
  • Her youngest child (as far as we know), Retief-124, with father Petrus/Pieter Retief was born in 1801 and Petrus died in 1813, while Francois Retief died in 1807.
  • Maria was not born yet when Francois Retief married his first wife in Feb 1765.

I therefore request that you please remove Francois Retief as her husband
