Biography
John was born in 1849. [1] He married Martha Jones in 1881.[2]. He passed away in 1895. His estate was probated 4 December 1895 in Jefferson County, Alabama. In the probate record his wife is Martha Reeder, over 21; children are Annie Reeder, over 14 and under 21 years of age; Richard B. Reeder, under 14 years of age; Thomas W. Reeder (this is actually John Thomas who always used Tom or Thomas) under 14 years of age; Jobe Reeder, under 14 years of age.[3]

(jackie and john are 4th cousins 1x removed.) These matches have been independently verified by via the MyHeritage Chromosome Browser. Their most-recent common ancestors are William Hudson and Elizabeth Vaughn, the 4x great grandparents of both Wanda (Reeder) Horn and jackie and 3x great grandparents of john. DNA test taker Wanda (Reeder) Horn is the great granddaughter of John Reeder, the son of Thomas Reeder, the grandson of the common ancestors William Hudson & Elizabeth Vaughn.
