Biography

He was baptized on 12 Feb 1683 in Pfaffenhofen, Niedermodern, Niederrhein, Alsace, Frankreich [1] and his parents were Anna Catharine (Scheer, 1659-1717) and Johann "Hans" Georg Reimel, Sr. (c1645-1700).

Johann George Reimel, Jr. first married on 15 Jan 1715 in Pfaffenhofen, Niederrhein, Alsace, Frankreich to Anna Marie Veit.

He and his family sailed aboard the ship "Virtuous Grace" from Rotterdam, Netherlands to Cowes, England and arrived in September 1737 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [2] [3] [4] [5]

He moved his family from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

By 1745 he had married secondly to Elizabeth Barbara (of unknown maiden surname). [6]

He died about 1754 in Pennsylvania. [7]
