Sarah Renfro and China Renfro, her husband's first wife, were sisters. Her marriage record, however, lists her name as Sarah Armstrong. It is most likely that she was married once before she married husband Henry Taylor. They could have also been half sisters with a different father, although I've found nothing to substantiate that yet. I will continue searching for the link between these two women.
Will of Her Husband Henry Taylor, Dated 16 June 1777

"In the name of God Amen June the Sixteenth 1777. I Henry Tayler of Bedford County Virginia being very sick and weak in Body but of perfick mind and Memory, thanks be given unto god. Therefore calling into mind the Mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed to all a time once to die to make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principilly and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of the almighty god that gave it and my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in Decent Christian Burial at the Descretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty Power of god and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it pleased god to Bless me in this life I give my demise and dispose in the following Manner and form.
"Firstly I give and Bequeath to my beloved son Christopher Taylor and to my beloved son Skelton Taylor the Land where are we Christopher and I now live containing one hundred and Seventy acres to be sold after the death of my Beloved Wife Sarah Taylor and the Money to be Equally divided Between the said Christopher Taylor and SkeltonTaylor and no more only the above named. Skelton Taylor to have One Cow and One feather Bed and all my house hole goods and working Tools and horses Cattle Sheep and Hogs I give and Bequeath to Sarah Taylor my Dearly Beloved Wife during her life and after her deceas the hole to be Equally Divided Between my Beloved Daughter Zannah Taylor and Sarah Taylor and I likewise constitute make and Ordain my sole Execur Jonathan Richason and Skelton Taylor of this my last will and Testament by them to be possessed and-
"I give and Bequeath to my Dearly beloved son John Taylor five shillings and I give and Bequeath to my Beloved son William Taylor five shillings and to my Beloved Daughter Rachel Richason five shillings and to my Beloved Daughter Elizabeth Richason five shillings and I give and Bequeath to my beloved Daughter Cloye [sic] Rensfro? five shillings and I do hereby disallow revoke and dismiss all and Every Other former Testaments Wills Legacies Bequests Executed by me in any ways before named Wills and Bequeathed Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In witness where of I have hear unto set my hand and Last the Day and Year above Written
"Signed Sealed Published Pronounced and Declared by the said Henry Taylor as his last Will and Testament in the Presence of us the subscribers:
