Son of Harrison and Elinor Jane Witt Reno, he married Martha Ann Moore on 1 August 1867 in Greene County, Illinois.

Frank Reno died at his home northwest of Kane Sat., age 63. Interment was in charge of the Masonic Order.

He was a son of Harrison and Eleanor Jane Reno. He married Miss Martha Ann Moore. Seven children were born to them, 2 of whom died in infancy. Surviving children are Mrs. Ella Gardiner, Sanford Reno, Mrs. Jennie Ferguson, Mrs. Tina Brooks and Carter H Reno. Besides his children he leaves 2 brothers, W. C. and P. H. Reno, and a half-sister, Emily Handling.
