Robert was born in 1843 to John F. Reynolds and Margaret Jane Hickman. Robert volunteered for Civil War army service in Company F, 103rd Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, August 9, 1862 in Amherst, Ohio(Lorain County), for a term of 3 years. Occupation: Farmer. He was mustered out with Company F, June 12, 1865 in Raleigh, North Carolina at the end of the war. Wife, Mary (June 17, 1849-Sept. 23, 1900) is also in plot with several other family members
