Jean Baptiste Ricard is a descendant of an Acadian

Jean Philippe, son of Antoine Ricard and Marie Boudreaut, was born 29 Jun 1774 and baptized the following day in the parish of Sainte-Anne-de-La-Pérade, Province de Québec. His godparents were Jean Baptiste Dolbec and Marie Joseph Guimond. [1]

Jean Baptiste Richard [sic] age of about twenty-three years and son of Antoine Richard and Marie Boudreau, and Marie Ursule Boire age of about twenty years, daughter of Henry Boire and the late Ursule Magant, were married 26 Sep 1796 in the parish of Sainte-Anne-de-La-Pérade, Bas-Canada. [2]

  1. Marie (Marie Desanges), 1797
  2. Marie Josephe, 1799
  3. Marie Marguerite, c 1801


Jean Baptiste Ricard, widower of Marie Boire, and Marguerite Chalut, minor daughter of Jacques Chalut and Marguerite Larrie, were married 1803 Saint-Constant, Bas-Canada. [3]

He passed away in 1842.
