Sarah was born about 1676 probably at Eastham since her father Richard removed to Cape Cod in 1674.[1]
In her father's estate settlement on 08 April 1697, she was named as Sarah Rich, and was to receive her share of £21, 15s.[2]
She married Isaac Baker on 25 February 1702/3 at Eastham.[3]
As "Sarah Beaker", she was mentioned in a deed. On 12 November 1708, Richard Rich of Eastham, yeoman, sold for £45 to Peter Dixson of Kittery, York County, Maine shipcarpenter, on behalf of himself and siblings (John Rich, Thomas Rich, Samuel Rich, Sarah "Beaker" and Lydia Hopkins), land called "Treworthies point" at Kittery, "being land which descended unto us from our honored father, Richard Rich deceased."[4]
In the settlement of her husband Isaac Baker's estate, dated 20 May 1749, their children Isaac Baker, Joseph Baker, Simeon Baker, Sarah Sweet, Mary Cohoon, Hannah Baker and Lydia Baker were named, their shares to be paid by their brother Richard Baker. The heirs of Samuel Baker, the eldest son already deceased, to receive his share.[5]
