Biography
Robert Rich was born on 19 January 1778 in Wellfleet, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, the son of Reuben and Hannah (Gross) Rich.[1][2] He married Eunice Harding on 10 September 1800 at Wellfleet. Robert died in Wellfleet on 24 October 1820, leaving 11 children under age.[3]

- Isaac, b. 24 Oct 1801; d. Boston 23 Jan 1872; m. Sarah Andrews. Left his fortune to Boston University. 3 Children all died without issue. Family burial lot at Mt. Auburn.
- Ruth Doane, b. 16 May 1803; d. 1878; m. Asa Higgins of Wellfleet.
- Abigail, b. 25 Oct 1804; m. Levin Lecount.
- Robert, b. 18 Nov 1807; m. Louisa Lewis 1828
- Solomon Harding, b. 25 Oct 1809; d. unmarried.
- Eunice, b. 29 Dec 1810; m. Charles Cummings 1828.
- Reuben, b. 26 Sep 1812; m1. Martha Rich; m2. Rachel Keezer.
- Azubah, b. 1 May 1815; m. John Lecount 1835.
- Benjamin, b. 27 May 1817; d. unmarried.
- Collins S., b. 14 Apr 1819; d. unmarried 1842.
