Biography

Born in Bristol, ME and received his medical degree at Bowdoin College. He and his family lived in Bowdoinham until 1857 and then moved to Kennebunk where he opened an apothecary. He was a devout Methodist. He died in 1887 at the age of 78 and was buried in Hope Cemetery in Kennebunk.[1]
