"A FIFTH RICHARDSON BROTHER AT MOUNT DESERT For a short time there was at Mount Desert a Hugh Richardson, brother of James, Thomas, Stephen, and Elijah. Hugh seems to have remained long enough at Gloucester to have married on Sept. 28, 1766, Elizabeth Clark. They had two daughters, Hannah, and Lucy Maderson b. May 7, 1768, who in 1786 married her cousin George, son of James and Rachel Gott Richardson; died March 10, 1809. In some Mount Desert records Lucy is referred to as Lucy Pindexter, a name for which I am unable to account. George and Lucy had several children and many descendants. ..." Hugh was born about 1741. He is the son of Stephen Richardson and Jane Montgomery.
