Nicholas Crofton Rippon was born in 1736 in Sunderland, Durham, England, son of John Rippon (1706 - 1772) and Margaret (Shepherd) Rippon (~1720 - 1777).
Nicholas (~23) married Margaret Robson (~19) (1741 - 1804) on 29 Apr 1760 in Bishopwearmouth, Durham.[1][2] Their children were:
Nicholas died in Jun 1807 in Bishopwearmouth aged ~71, and his remains were interred in the Bishopwearmouth Cemetery.[3]
