James Roberts was born on 21 Dec 1858^[1] in Windsor, New South Wales, Australia as the twelfth child of Richard Roberts and Elizabeth Walters. He had eleven siblings, namely: David, Catherine, Aaron, Susanna, Richard, Frances, William, Elizabeth, Jane Walters, Ephraim and Sarah. He died on 06 Oct 1938^[2] in Windsor, New South Wales, Australia. When he was 30, he married Sarah Hopkins, daughter of John Hopkins and Catherine Roberts, on 18 Mar 1889^[3] in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
