Biography

Hannah (Hamilton) Robertson, Ester's grandmother was a sister of John Hamilton (whose wife was Rebecca Robertson) as well as Elizabeth (Robertson) Hamilton and Esther (Hamilton) Robertson. Additionally some cousins married other cousins further reducing the potential gene pool. There are consequently many common links back to the earliest ancestors from all over the tree.

Mary was born about 1816. She was the daughter of George Robertson and Hannah Hamilton. She passed away about 1887.[1]

Please see this article on autosomal triangulation (click) for information on how to document a confirmation by DNA triangulation on WikiTree.

It would appear that at least two of the DNA testers listed are siblings (Hamilton-1394 and Hamilton-4105) and therefore cannot both be used in the triangulation.

'Confirmed with DNA' should not be set until a proper DNA confirmation statement has been added to the child's profile.

Thank you.
