Many of the online trees as well as printed genealogies indicate that this Margery Rockett was Mary Rockett, daughter of Thomas Rockett (1575-1649).
The earliest direct evidence concerning Margery is found on a 1629 marriage entry in Crewkerne, England in which Eltweed Pomeroy married a Margery Rockett. Most trees that believe Margery was a daughter of Thomas Rockett claim she was the "Mary" who was baptized in 1615. However, if Margery and Mary were the same person that would put her age at about 14 when she married Eltweed. To correct the possible age problem some people have estimated Margery's birth was around 1605, but no evidence is given to back that up.
In the will of Thomas Rockett dated 28 Nov 1649 he says he will "...bequeath unto my daughter Mary Rockett ffive pounds of good and lawful [illegible] money to be paid..." which indicates that Mary was not Margery or it would have included her married name of Pomeroy and not Rockett and possibly some mention of the fact that she was in New England. (Mary Rockett actually married John Rockett in 1639 and thus retained her maiden name in the will, yet it was also her married name.) [1] (The digital copy of the will is extremely difficult to read as it is severely speckled and has the reverse or facing page superimposed on it—see the attached section of the will pertaining to Mary Rockett.)
The discrepancies between the two names, Margery/Mary, the discrepanices between a birth year of approximately 1605 and a baptism of 1615, and the fact that "Mary Rockett" and not "Margery Pomeroy" appear in Thomas Rockett's will of 1649 indicate that Mary Rockett, daughter of Thomas Rockett, son of John Rockett alias Wakeley, is not the same as Margery Rockett who married Eltweed Pomeroy in 1629.
Nor was Margery a daughter of Thomas' father, John, since in John's will of 1615 no Margery was mentioned.[2] (See the names found on John's on the profile for John Rocket.) Thomas' daughter, Mary (b. ~1615), was mentioned in a codicil to John's will as was another granddaughter Mary, the daughter of John's son Nicholas. But she would was born after 1615 and attempting to identify her as Margery suffers the same problems as assuming Margery is Thomas' daughter.
There are no sources giving any informaation concerning Margery Rockett's birth, although it was probably in England before 1610 as she was most likely at least 20 years of age when she married in 1629.
She married Eltweed Pomeroy on 7 May 1629 in Crewkerne, Somersetshire. [3] and together they had the following children:[4]
She died at Windsor on 5 Jul. 1655.[5][6]

Found this image on Ancestry.com as a hint for Mary (assuming same as Margery) Rockett which states Mary was the daughter probably of John Rocket of Haldrich which seems to be different than the concept she is the daughter of THOMAS who was the son of JOHN.
Thoughts?

Thomas Rockett was also the son of John Rockett (alias Wakeley) of Thornecombe, Devon, England whose will was probated 8 Jan 1619.

The National Archives; Kew, Surrey, England; Records of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, Series PROB 11; Class: PROB 11; Piece: 210 Fairfax, Quire Numbers 154-193 (1649). Ancestry.com. England & Wales, Prerogative Court of Canterbury Wills, 1384-1858 [database on-line] which provides the entire will which is a genuine challenge to read due to a degraded original (including ink that leaked through the page) and the script of 1649 England. A Thomas Rockett marriage to Joanna Wolmington is listed in England, Select Marriages, 1538–1973, FHL Film #823705, but no image of the original is provided.
John Rockett's will is found at: "The National Archives; Kew, Surrey, England; Records of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, Series PROB 11; Class: PROB 11; Piece: 135: Soame, Quire Numbers 1-64 (1620)." on Ancestry.com.
So, I would not say this is adequate, but warrants examination as a possible family of origin for Margery Rockett (the will is too difficult to read with certainty to my eyes although several children are listed). I hope that someone with access to parish registers in Dorset might be able to confirm this potential connection. Is there a better location on wikitree to suggest research on possibly relevant records of this nature? Thanks again.

A couple of items.
Based on a quick search that I did, it appears there are no quality sources that actually show Margery's parents. There seems to be plenty of conjecture on the online trees at Ancestry, FamilySearch, et al. The first direct evidence of Margery is from her marriage record to Eltweed in Crewkerne in 1629. Most trees that link her as a daughter of Thomas Rockett claim she was baptized in 1615 as "Mary." That would put her age at about 14 when she married Eltweed. To correct the problem people have Margery's birth at sometime between 1590 and 1605 but give no evidence. The Margery/Mary and 1605/1615 discrepancies are a too much to make the leap that the two are the same.
That Thomas is John's son is probably borne out in the will, but unless the will also names Margery *Pomeroy* (which it wouldn't because that was ten years before her marriage), that will isn't helpful where Margery is concerned. John's will had a codicil in which he names his granddaughter Mary Rockett, daughter of Thomas who was born after the original will of 1615 was written. ("Will of John Rockett alias Wakeley, Yeoman of Thorncombe, Devon” (proved 8 Jan. 1620), image of PROB 11/135/10 by subscription The National Archives.)
More importantly to our investigation is the will of Thomas Rockett dated 28 Nov 1649 in which he says, "...bequeath unto my daughter Mary Rockett ffive pounds of good and lawful [....] money to be paid..." which indicates that Mary (note that it does not say "Margery"), the one baptised in 1615, at 34 years of age, was unmarried in 1649. (“Will of John Rockett alias Wakeley, Yeoman of Thorncombe, Devon” (8 Jan. 1620), PROB 11/135/10 , The National Archives, Kew, digital image by subscription The National Archives.) The digital; copy of the will is extremely difficult to read as it is severely speckled and has the reverse or facing page superimposed on it.
It appears that the "Mary Rockett," daughter of Thomas Rockett, son of John Rockett alias Wakeley, is not the same as Margery Rockett who married Eltweed Pomeroy in 1629 and was New England long before 1649.
If you plan on doing any research of English ancestors I highly suggest you create a free account to The National Archives, Kew . They are currently offering free downloads and that is how I was able to view the wills of both John and Thomas.
All the best,
~Scott
