Created Profiles for POW's who died in Andersonville Prison

I was born and raised in Southeastern Ohio. I have been a preschool teacher and an elementary and middle school librarian.

I have been researching my family history since the 8th grade when we were offered extra credit for filling in our ancestor tree following a presentation in reading class. My mom's parents had just died and Grandma had two tins of obituaries. I began sketching out our tree on notebook paper and haven't stopped.

I enjoy photographing and transcribing for BillionGraves.com. Together, my sister and I have completed over 29 cemeteries, from small family plots to larger village/municipal cemeteries. Our cousin Rhett has also gotten interested in BG. This interest lead me to adding everyone in our local cemetery to WikiTree, which in turn lead to the start of a One Place Study on my hometown. I have been given unfettered access as well as permission to share decades of issues of our town's former newspaper. Shout out to The Legend and The Judge!

It's time for the One Place Studies Project Check-In!

We've put together a survey for you to fill out to check in with you, it will only take a moment as there are only a few questions. Filling out the survey lets us know you are still interested in coordinating your study and provides an opportunity for you to share any suggestions you may have for the project.

If you have decided to step away from your study, please reply to this comment to that effect.

You are a connecting machine, Jody! :-)
I had a goal to clear out all the notes I had for years on people married into my lines - lots of parents, siblings and a few additional children added. I thought it might take one day. I finished Sunday afternoon. đŸ€Ł

Hi, How’s it goin’? Im just doing a weekly check-in with my teammates for the Indexers group.

I’ve done a few updates and added a few links to the page and We were approved as an actual project under the US Projects list.

I was wondering if you are tracking your numbers? I’d love to be able to add your numbers to the teampage. Oh we have a cool sticker now that links the page to your profile.

Jody, I gave permission for Dolly Dickey and some of the Mortland trees. I updated them quite a bit after seeing that they hadn't been worked on for a long time.

Let me know if you need anything more. Ken
