Chancy Foster Rogers was born on 23 August 1829 in Shalersville, Portage, Ohio, United States to Noah Rogers and Eda Hollister.

Marriage

He married Eleanor Janett Kelsey, called Ellen, (1830 - 1873) on 15 June 1862 in Logan, Cache, Utah. She was the widow of Levi Walter Everton (1824-1856). She had 3 children from her previous marriage.

  1. Woodford Henry Rogers was born on 15 March 1863 in Utah, United States. He Married Elizabeth Sophia Pew (1862-1913) on 26 February 1883 in Mesa, Adams, Utah. Woodford died on 11 June 1920 in Idaho Falls, Bonneville, Idaho, United States.
  2. Otis Elva Rogers was born on 27 December 1865 in Bear Lake County, Idaho, United States. He married Clarissa Samantha Staples (1869-1944) on 26 May 1887 in Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona. Otis died on 9 September 1956 in Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona, United States.[1]
  3. Walter George Rogers was born on 27 May 1867 in Idaho, United States. He married Ida Mae Rappleye (1878-1958) on 18 December 1895 in Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona. [2] Walter died on 19 December 1928 in Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona, United States.[3]
  4. Oscar David Rogers was born on 3 September 1869 in Utah Territory. He died on 31 May 1951 in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. [4]
