Sarah's heritage was possibly Cherokee Indian. (This could also just be a mix up with where she was born as in Cherokee Country). It is believed that William Lowry was part Cherokee too. Some think they lived around the Rowan County area of North Carolina. They moved to Tennessee briefly then on to Warren County, Kentucky about 1810. They are buried some place in Warren County, Kentucky.
